If you’re a beginner, keep in mind that you can’t stand in shallow water here — paddling is part of the game! For more advanced surfers, the waves are usually soft and not too powerful, so it’s best to bring a board with plenty of volume. And don’t forget, the Caribbean sun is strong — make sure you’re well protected so you can enjoy every session.
