Ok, our price includes quality accommodations, all trips to surf breaks (and travel to non-surf activities) with a highly experienced surf guide, and airport transfers from Kaohsiung KHH, which is easily accessible via Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and Kuala Lumpur. Breakfasts are also included.
 
From Kaohsiung, it’s a 2-hour drive to the south and 3 hours to the east.
We can pick you up from Taipei, but please note it’s a 6+hour drive (depending on traffic) from Taipei to the south or east coasts.

*We don't mix different bookings in the same vehicle. You will have a dedicated vehicle and guide/driver to yourselves for the duration of your stay.*

All our quality rooms on both coasts have AC, Cable TV, private bathroom, free high-speed Wifi, and fridge.

Surf time is at your discretion. We know all the spots :) What works where on which tide, wind, swell size, and direction.  There are various river mouths, cobblestone points, beach breaks, and the odd reef.

We work entirely according to your schedule, so you can surf whenever you'd like (and as often) throughout each day. And the same applies to cultural/sightseeing trips. 

For non-surf activities, there's certainly enough to keep everyone amused. The scenery is stunning; there are hot springs, temples (several temples, different Gods, from huge and impressive and some out-of-the-way ones), hidden creeks and waterholes (pristine) we know of, fresh sashimi at the harbour, national park walking trails (easy), bicycle paths (east coast), night markets, a variety of small shops and restaurants; local food, Japanese, Vietnamese and a couple of good Western food spots we know.

Accommodation options . . 

East Coast (best waves; Oct/Nov-Feb)

Near the surf: 

Nestled at the foot of the hills and a 1-minute drive from the ocean. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot, with a couple of restaurants, and villages a few minutes' drive away. Note: there is little within walking distance.

In Town (Taitung): 

Our main coastal town base of Taitung (25 min drive from the waves along a beautiful stretch of coast) - hosts a wide variety of restaurants (Local - dumplings, hot-pot, noodles, and much more -  Japanese, Vietnamese, and Western) as well as temples, live music, parks, markets, shops, etc., all within walking distance from the accommodation. 

We don't miss any surf time because we're at the beaches throughout the day, including dawn patrols - if you’d like.

Bikes are also available for free use. Accommodation features: Free high-speed wifi – Cable TV – AC – Fridge. All the mod-cons.

This is our most popular accommodation option for the East Coast due to the availability of amenities, shops, restaurants, etc. It's much closer to the hot springs too.

We do also have a group room with 6 beds at this location.

South Coast (best waves; March-April+July-September/October)

Our South Coast Accommodation is 150m from the sand (beach is suitable for surfing and swimming - great spot to watch the sunset too), with only a local two lane road and a beachside carpark between you and the beach - there's no accom on the beachside of the road. All rooms have AC, Cable TV, bathroom, free Wifi and fridge. 

And we have a range of hire boards available too, if you’d prefer to travel light.
