Anti-Discrimination Policy
1. Purpose
Waverii is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive global surfing community. This Anti-Discrimination Policy prohibits discrimination, harassment, and any conduct that undermines the dignity or safety of any individual based on protected characteristics.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all users of the Waverii platform, including but not limited to:
- Guests (traveling surfers)
- Hosts (local surf service providers)
- Employees, contractors, and representatives of Waverii
3. Prohibited Conduct
Waverii strictly prohibits discrimination, harassment, or any other offensive behavior based on, but not limited to, the following protected characteristics:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Gender, gender identity, or gender expression
- Sexual orientation
- Age
- Religion, creed, or belief system
- Disability or medical condition
- Socioeconomic status
- Language or accent
Prohibited conduct includes any language, behavior, or content that is:
- Offensive, harassing, discriminatory, threatening, or hateful
- Bullying or intimidation
- Retaliation against anyone reporting violations of this policy
4. User Responsibilities
All users of the Waverii platform agree to:
- Treat each other with respect, dignity, and fairness
- Respect and embrace cultural differences and diverse perspectives
- Refrain from any conduct that violates this policy
- Promptly report any incidents or concerns related to discrimination or harassment using the in-platform reporting tools or by contacting us
5. Reporting & Enforcement
Waverii takes all reports seriously and will promptly investigate complaints in a confidential and impartial manner. Where violations are substantiated, Waverii may take appropriate corrective action, including but not limited to:
- Issuing warnings or educational guidance
- Temporarily suspending accounts or platform access
- Permanently removing users from the platform
- Reporting unlawful behavior to appropriate authorities
6. Limitations & Liability
Waverii acts solely as a platform connecting independent users and does not control the actions of users outside the platform. While we strive to maintain a safe and inclusive environment, Waverii cannot guarantee the conduct of any user and expressly disclaims liability for any discriminatory or harassing behavior occurring between users.
By using Waverii, users acknowledge and agree to comply with this Anti-Discrimination Policy and understand that violations may result in restrictions or termination of access.
