  • We typically process deletion requests within 30 calendar days from receipt.
  • You will receive confirmation when the deletion process begins and when it is complete.
  • In exceptional cases (e.g., legal holds or complex data), processing may be extended by up to 60 additional days, with notice.

5. Important Notes & Exceptions

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, except where data retention is required by law or permitted under this policy. Please ensure all active bookings or transactions are completed prior to requesting deletion.

Waverii may retain certain data where necessary to:

  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Resolve disputes or enforce agreements
  • Maintain platform safety and security
  • Support legitimate business operations

Payment information and transaction records may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable financial regulations, including PCI DSS and anti-money laundering laws.

Deleted data may remain in backup or archival systems for a limited period of time (up to 90 days) before being permanently removed.

By submitting a deletion request, you acknowledge that your data may have been processed and stored outside your country of residence, including in the United States, subject to appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

Deletion requests submitted on behalf of minors or legally incapable individuals will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and may require parental or guardian consent.

Deletion requests do not affect data that has been shared with or is controlled by third parties, including service providers, payment processors, or other users.

Waverii is committed to respecting human dignity and the rights of all users, including vulnerable or marginalized populations. We may retain or process limited data where necessary to prevent harm, ensure platform safety, or comply with legal obligations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waverii disclaims liability for any damages or losses arising from data deletion requests, delays, errors, or retention of data as required by law or legitimate business interests.

  • Waverii is not obligated to mediate disputes between users and third parties, including service providers.
  • To the extent permitted by law, any disputes arising under this policy shall be governed by the laws and jurisdiction specified in Waverii’s Terms of Service.
