SURFVINTAGE was born out of a pure passion for surfing and the sea. I’ve been surfing for about 15 years and have ridden a lot of boards, as you can imagine. As a product designer, I decided to put the pieces together and create this brand—an adventure driven by passion that quickly turned into an addiction.
SURFVINTAGE produces only longboards and currently has four models. The names are inspired by things we all like to eat and use in cooking—as if the boards themselves were meant to be enjoyed. Names like Candy, Mint, Chili, and Sugar. That’s the concept: to make surfing pure pleasure and fun.
We are currently developing a new concept of featuring guest shapers who can leave their signature and craftsmanship on a handcrafted Surfvintage surfboard. We already have the first one—the Sugar model—developed by a local shaper from Porto. It’s been an incredible experience, sharing ideas and creating something new together.
