I was born and raised in Yoff, Dakar, where I grew up by the ocean. I started surfing in 2013 using whatever I could find—broken boards, wood, even a bodyboard—before eventually getting my first real surfboard and fully committing to the sport.

Today, I teach surfing with Malika Surf and run a local workshop where I repair boards and continue developing my skills as a shaper. I’m part of a new generation building surf culture in Senegal, with the goal of shaping my own boards and contributing to the local surf community.
