Iguana Surf’s group surf lessons are perfect for first-time surfers — whether you’re traveling solo or just enjoy learning in a fun, social environment with other beginners. We’ll pair you up into small groups so you don’t have to worry about a thing — all you need to do is sign up and get ready to surf!
What to Expect:
Small class sizes – Maximum of 4 students per instructor for plenty of personalized attention
20-minute beach instruction – Covering safety, surf etiquette, and the basics
Hands-on practice – Master paddling, popping up, stance, and reading the waves
Guided water session – Your instructor will be right by your side the entire time, helping you catch your first waves!

Safety First! Children 12 and under must book a private lesson for a safer, more personalized experience.
Please arrive at the surf shop 15 minutes before your lesson time. We’ll have your rash guard and surfboard ready for you, and you can store your belongings in our lockers. You’ll also have access to bathrooms, showers, and a changing room to get ready before and after your session!
What to bring:
- Change of Clothes

- Swimsuit
- Towel
