Umzumbe, also known as **Stebel Rocks**, is a fun and consistent right-hand point break on South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal coast. With waves suitable for a range of ability levels, it’s a great spot for both newer surfers and experienced riders looking for quality local conditions.

We are a beach front surf themed lodge. We offer very comfortable bedrooms, garden camping and new luxury bungalows in a Guest House / Backpacker vibe which means that all guests share the common spaces of the main house with other guests. The property and Main House are old (over 100 years old), the vibe is rustic and intended for guests to spend most of their time outdoors.

All Lessons include 1 hour instruction and equipment.
Available 7 Days a week by appointment.
We carry beginner to advanced surfboards of all shapes and sizes.
We do not reserve board rentals, they are on a first come first
serve basis.
