Surf Taiwan offers multiple accommodation options across Taiwan’s South and East Coasts, including rooms near the surf, accommodation in Taitung, and South Coast stays close to the beach.

About the Area
Accommodation is available both near the surf and in Taitung.
The near-surf option is nestled at the foot of the hills and is approximately a 1-minute drive from the ocean. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, with villages a few minutes’ drive away. There is little within walking distance.
The Taitung option is approximately 25 minutes from the waves along the coast and offers restaurants, temples, live music, parks, markets, and shops within walking distance. Bikes are available for free use. A group room with 6 beds is also available at this location.
South Coast
South Coast accommodation is approximately 150 meters from the sand. The beach is suitable for surfing and swimming and is also a good place to watch the sunset.

Accommodation options vary by location and group size, with stays available near the surf, in Taitung, and on the South Coast close to the beach. Surf guiding, transportation to surf breaks, airport transfers, board hire, and non-surf activities can also be arranged as part of your stay.
Packages from US$850 per person. Pricing varies by accommodation, group size, coast, and length of stay. Rates include accommodation, a private van and surf guide/driver, airport transfers, breakfast, surf transportation, and trips to non-surf activities.
Good to Know
East Coast: best waves are typically from approximately October/November through February.
South Coast: best waves are typically from approximately March–April and July–September/October.
Kaohsiung International Airport is approximately two hours from the South Coast and three hours from the East Coast.
Pickup from Taipei may be possible, but travel time to the South or East Coast can exceed six hours depending on traffic.
