Paradise FREESTYLE is designed for **beginner, intermediate, and experienced surfers**. Surf sessions are guided by local conditions, tides, and each guest's ability and progression.
This experience runs **Saturday to Saturday** and includes roundtrip airport transportation from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).
Surfboards ranging from approximately 9' to 6' are available as part of the guided surf experience. Guests are also welcome to bring their own board.
Daily breakfast is included. Lunches and dinners are intentionally left open, giving you the freedom to explore Jacó's restaurants, cafés, and local food scene. Our concierge can help with recommendations and reservations.
Surf and outdoor activities are weather- and conditions-dependent. Schedules may shift during the week to take advantage of better surf, tides, or conditions — that's part of the FREESTYLE approach.
Paradise FREESTYLE Core experiences start at $1,841 for one solo surfer. Rates vary by season, accommodation type, and dates. Contact us with your preferred Saturday-to-Saturday dates and we'll confirm availability and exact pricing. Optional excursions and additional experiences can also be added to customize your week.

Paradise FREESTYLE is a 7-night, Saturday-to-Saturday surf-centered Costa Rica experience designed around flexibility, progression, and the freedom to enjoy Jacó at your own pace.
This isn't a rigid surf camp or a crowded group program. Based at Bird of Paradise Hotel, our boutique hotel just steps from Jacó Beach, the FREESTYLE Core Experience combines guided surf progression, personalized video analysis, movement, breathwork, and recovery — thoughtfully scheduled around tides and conditions to help you get the most from your time in the water.
Between sessions, the rest of Jacó is yours. Grab a bicycle, head to the beach, hike to El Miro, relax by the pool, catch the sunset, explore town, or let our concierge help you add another Costa Rica adventure.
Whether you're learning to surf, building confidence, or looking to progress your skills, Paradise FREESTYLE gives you the structure and local support of a surf experience without scheduling every minute of your vacation.

About the Area
Jacó is one of Costa Rica's most accessible and lively Pacific beach towns — a place where surf, tropical nature, local culture, restaurants, and adventure all come together within an easygoing, walkable destination.
Jacó Beach offers warm-water surfing and consistent waves throughout the year, with additional surf breaks nearby when conditions call for exploring beyond the home break. Bird of Paradise Hotel is just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to grab your board and get in the water.
Off the waves, there's plenty to fill a week without overfilling your schedule. Explore Jacó by bicycle, hike through the tropical hillside to El Miro, watch the sunset from the beach, discover local restaurants and cafés, or simply slow down by the pool between sessions.
